The joint-stock company Tiba belonged among prestigious producers of printed textile fabric. Its production was intended both for the domestic market and exports to many countries.
More than 50-year long manufacturing tradition successfully continued in almost 250-year lasting calico printing traditions and even longer traditions of cloth, weaving and dyeing guilds in Dvůr Králové.
Due to the production economic losses and overall company insolvency, the company TIBA corp. was adjudged bankrupt on February 9, 2007. The District Court in Hradec Králové appointed TIBA corp. an administrator of the bankruptcy assets. The bankruptcy order and appointment of the bankruptcy assets administrator became effective on March 20, 2007.
